Now I can’t even sleep through the night without having to change in the middle of the night otherwise I’ll bleed all over the bed.

So if I go even a bit to much longer after that, I’d be leaking all over the place, each two hours almost exact. I’m using a Diva Cup for around the last 6 years, and was going good until around 3 years ago. You see, my period does not slow down when I’m asleep. Nonetheless, still even so, it’s every two hours. Usually, painful, awkward and uncomfortable to be around, I had gone through an entire box of ‘corksized’ tampons and booster seatthick pads in record time, as my period announced its reappearance like the boss’s drunk wife at the staff party.

Now look, a little over a year ago, we were blessed with a son.

Surgical procedures like a hysterectomy, or less invasive procedures similar to endometrial ablation, may be carefully considered.

Usually, p option is to see a doctor. Determined by the cause of menorrhagia and the individual patient’s needs, treatments may include hormones, NSAIDs, the ‘non hormonal’ drug tranexamic acid, and possibly surgery. Other tests may involve ultrasound or Xray images of the uterus or use devices that can view inside the uterus or abdomen. Medical professionals may draw blood to look for any blood or clotting disorders.
