Irregular Spotting After Period – Vaginal Bleeding On Birth Control Pills

irregular spotting after period On a practical note, So there’s no reason why a teenager shouldn’t use tampons. It can take some small amount of practice to figure out how to use a tampon but it may make heavy periods easier to manage. Some women have very heavy bleeding during a period. Notice that progestogens act like the body’s natural progesterone hormones -they control the ‘buildup’ of cells lining the womb. Needless to say, norethisterone is a progestogen medicine. One option as an emergency treatment is to take a course of norethisterone tablets. With that said, this can cause a bunch of blood loss, and distress. I consulted my doctor and he put me on another higher dose birth control no its still hasn’t stopped I have an appointment in Jan.

My cycle is on for 3 months now without signs of letting up.

Any advice? Of course I ok a few of my pills at one time as my Dr had instructed when she first put me on BC after I had an extremely heavy cycle for 6 months stright. Now it’s just been on for 3 months straight. For example, over the past 2 weeks I’ve been experiencing sevvere cramps, everyday now my cramps are worse hereafter the day before. That’s interesting. I was on birth control for 2 and a half years without issue -then one day I passed a huge clot and things fot to the point that after having my cycle whn I ok my pill by the 4th day of a completely new pack my cycle was back on and heavy. Consequently, I am scared many of us know that there is something very wrong. Discuss with your primary care provider, if not.

irregular spotting after period I should not be terribly concerned. Do you know an answer to a following question. KP, have you recently changed brands? I’d say in case you experience heavier bleeding or severe cramping ‘midcycle’ you must see your doctor. Our bodies do change over time and light spotting and cramping are not terribly unusual. Hi, I’ve been taking Norimin pills for 4 months.

Help?

Know what guys, I have unprotected sex every week and I don’t take the ‘inactive’ I always By the way I never miss my pills and always take them correctly. Then, I had UTI for 2 days around 23″ weeks ago and this time I am now getting slight cramps. I’ve been getting spotting and brownish + redish + pink discharge. I had the Injection 11 March 2014 and started full on periods 3 weeks ago and I am still bleeding doctors cost a lot and give me no answers and I am starting to get annoyed and just look for to know why and what actually was happening? I have had a smear and all came back good. Consequently, I don’t miss my pills and intake them everyday.

Helpp. Been taking lolestrin few for about five months ‘ I’m on my second week in my fifth pack and I’m having bleeding not spotting actually Bleeding.and cramps like a period. Day I woke up and it was heavier. I am right there with you. Since being on it, it hasn’t gone away or gotten lighter, the bleeding started a couple hours before I actually switched to the loestrin. I’m pretty sure I had cramps nearly any single day and I felt depressed, To be honest I have endometriosis and I was on mononessa to skip my periods. Maybe it’s the pill? Nonetheless.( and I still have cramps everyday. Now pay attention please. I have been on it for about 2 weeks now, and I’ve been bleeding for 10 days. Not getting lighter, at first it was pretty light. He switched me to loestrin hoping that lower estrogen would help with the symptoms. I’m afraid that my bleeding will only get worse.

I have a concern.

I should normally start spotting and I still have redish blood coming out.

I look for to stop my birth control and see if that will help. I know this discussion is from a couple of years ago. Not a lot but enough where I need a light pad on. It is I had all of my normal symptoms. That said, I had an ovarian cyst rupture last month and Ive been bleeding for now 37 days. My gyro put me on low dose BC and I seemed to have just gotten my period as long as it got worse. With all that said… I am 50 years old and going through changes!! On p of this, I had a transvaginal and an ultrasound and blood work and I am healthy!!! You should take it into account. There are the most expensive pills I have ever taken!!!

I am having identical problems on Loestrin I was put on these pills as I was having heavy bleeding and mood swings!!!

Are these pills flawd or what????

My period I will admit ate a lot less than before! Anyway, you’d better have your doctor do a thorough exam to rule out any internal cause of bleeding similar to fibroids or benign growths. Pam, it is unusual. I would make sure a thorough exam is done, Undoubtedly it’s possible the bleeding is simply due to hormonal fluctuations that the pills have not been able to correct. Now this has effected my life and job and kids as well. Let me tell you something. Is the constant bleeding causing my weakness and exhaustion? I will just like I am to nearly any local doctor and now driving 2 hours away to see what actually is supposed to be a lot of the best in the country.
